After Hole in the Rock, we went on to a boondocking site in the FishLake National forest. I got the idea for the first site in this national forest from vbloggers, Fate Unbound.
After Bryce we got on route 12 and drove to Escalante, a beautiful area with amazingly majestic views all around. We found a great boon docking site off Hole-in-the-Rock Road just east of Escalante.
Our first stop in Utah was Bryce Canyon National Park. We found a boondocking site called George’s Gift on Dave’s Hollow forest service road, which is off route 63 that goes into the park.
On October 24 this year Kate and me and Charlie hiked out to Loch Leven lakes. We went via Lake Valley Reservoir
On October 2nd Kate, me and the dogs ventured up to the coastal town of Fort Bragg and MacKerritcher State Park for four nights. A four and a half hour drive.
My last camp at Jackson Meadows for this year.
First time this year at Loon Lake, and it was a group campout. Gary and Sheryl, Mike and Vicki, and Debbie joined us with their respective RVs. We had some really good times!
This is my first campout at Jackson Meadows, East Meadow campground since 2016. It’s my favorite and was closed last year because of questionable reasons. I had my preferred site #34. The dogs and I went up for five nights
On our way back north, at the top of the summit above Mono Lake, there is a turn off for Virginia Lakes. Our friend, Jerry Burgan had strongly recommended
After Convict Lake we did a little exploring of the area around Mammoth Lakes, got supplies and gas in town, and then found a NFS campground called Glass Creek.
