After having to cancel our trip to the ocean in mid August, I was luckily able to get a great site at Mackerritcher SP for just three nights at the beginning of September.  However, we had to be out of there for the Labor Day weekend and all other nearby camping facilities I found were booked up. This year for Kate’s birthday (Halloween), we went up to Fort Bragg and camped in MacKerritcher State Park for three nights.   No dogs this time so we brought the jeep and bikes. (more…)

In mid March, we made our first motor home trip of 2019 to Bodega Bay.  It was also our first venture using the tow system I installed to tow our 2018 Jeep Wrangler JKU behind us.  I was amazed at how smooth and easy it all went.  (more…)

The birds during and after the storm were amazing to watch. I was firing off photo shots of these almost as much as the waves.
