Pure Synchronicity

After a break in the rains, we found a nice sunny day to hike the Stevens Trail hike here in Colfax.  The trail goes all the way down to the American River, however the waterfalls have blocked the trail about half way down.  Weather was gorgeous, water clear running but tick season.  Both Ben and Charlie had at least half a dozen on each dog.  I even had a bite on my right leg, under my jeans.  Itches like crazy now.  At any rate here is a little video and a couple of photos.
