Doran State Park, Bodega Bay

In mid March, we made our first motor home trip of 2019 to Bodega Bay.  It was also our first venture using the tow system I installed to tow our 2018 Jeep Wrangler JKU behind us.  I was amazed at how smooth and easy it all went.  (more…)

Wrights Beach for Halloween

Wrights Beach from Kartum

On October 31st, Kate, I and the dogs went to Wrights Beach for her birthday weekend.  We lucked out with the weather, being nice and sunny, no wind and mild temperatures.  Brought our bikes and road the Kartum trail along the cliffs.  It was gorgeous.  We saw no whales this time but did see a seal checking us out in Duncan Cove.  We stayed in site #1 which was pretty  nice, good for handling the dogs and easy access to the beach, right outside our door.

Two buddies

After the storm these two buddies had to do some exploring to see what had been washed up.

Wrights Beach Sunset

This was an amazing sunset while I was camped at Wrights beach shortly after Thanksgiving this year. A huge storm was coming in the following day, so the ocean was extremely calm this evening.
