Every year Nevada City celebrates Joe Cain Day, or more commonly called, Mardi Gras, with a wonderful parade. This year was especially colorful and full of wonderful music and dancing, combined with a gorgeous day with weather in the 70s. Here are some pics.

Where is Nevada City? Excellent portfolio of photos. What a colorful , diverse variety of displays in the parade. Has your community ever considered entering a float in the parade? I love all the costumes, chicks, dogs & a variety of neat stuff. Thanks for putting together this neat assembly of the parade.

Nice job! Why do some of the people have such big heads? Is there something wrong with the water?
