Jackson Meadows #3 Camping With Atticus

At the end of July I went up to Jackson Meadows, East Meadow campground, for the third time this year.  Four nights total while Kate, my grandson Atticus and Charlie joined me and Ben for the third day and night.  Lots of kayaking, exploring up Pass Creek (now rather low),  gaming and relaxing.  I think Atticus really liked it this time.  Weather was great except for smoke in the air from the Carr fire near Redding.  Lake was down about 15-20 feet I would estimate, still rather high for this time of year.  Tons of fish on my fish finder but hardly a nibble on my bait or lure.  Maybe because the water was 70 degrees.  When Kate left on Wednesday she took both dogs so that I had the remainder of the trip solely for myself.  It took a little getting used to, buy after a few evening cocktails I was fine.  I have always had at least Ben with me but this time there was a problem getting him into the RV.  He seemed to have acquired a fear of the ramp, requiring me to pick him up and place him inside one night.  No bugs or mosquitoes.  Hammock was great.

Here is a short 10 minute video followed by some photos.
