Kate and I went back to Lombard, Illinois for my Mom’s 97th birthday on June 1st 2021. We met up with Caroline and Martin Greer, who graciously picked us up at the airport
Ben joined our family on December 7, 2005. He was just over seven weeks old having been born on October 18th. His father was pure bred golden retriever who lived a couple doors down from his mom who was half yellow lab and half golden.

This year the Stewart/Gast family converged on Loon Lake in July for three days of camping. They came from Portland, LA, and Elk Grove to one of Kate and my favorite lakes.
In December, Kate and I flew back to Illinois to see my beautiful mother in my home town of Lombard. Mom is still active, healthy and independent at the wise old age 94.
This year the family celebrated Thanksmas in southern California at Jamie and Angela’s new home. Lots of games, pinnata at the local park, Tibetan bells blessing of the house, Christmas gifts for all, and wonderful food and drinks.
In April I flew back to Chicago to pick up my mom so we could once again, drive down to Georgia to visit my son, Zach, his wife Tara, daughter Ella and my new grandson Chance. It was gorgeous spring weather
